Club Information

The Club meets at the Conference Centre in The Mnarani Club, off the Mombasa/Malindi highway just before the Kilifi bridge, at 5.30 pm on Thursdays.  The meetings frequently have a Speaker and we also discuss the various projects we are involved with.  You are most welcome to attend.  Often members, after the meeting ends around 6.30 pm, then repair to the Kusini Tavern for Fellowship.

The Club as well as having various members who assist in the running of the Club, such as the President, Secretary, there are three permanent committees who organise the delivery of help and assistance to the people of our community. These three committees are; Education, Health and WASH ( Water And Sanitation, Hygiene assistance to schools). The Education Committee works closely with Kesho Kenya to sponsor needy children to attend Secondary School and organise Literacy Days to encourage children to enjoy reading. The WASH committee leads in assessing schools to decide which could benefit from Foundation Grants to install toilets, hand washing facilities and training in hygiene for the children. The Health committee works to deliver End Polio Now information to the local people and to raise funds to achieve Rotary’s aim of eradicating the disease from the World. It also works with the Kilifi County Health team on various other health initiatives.

We also deliver assistance to those that need help by carrying out projects funded through the Rotary Foundation. These projects are carried out by members forming a team for each project with assistance from other Clubs around the world.
